You can put winter tires on alloys.
I’m just too cheap, so my winters are on steelies. And have always been on steelies since I started driving/owning cars back in 95.

Yeah, you can , but would an FRS driver put his good rims through winter? I know I wouldn’t. Heck, even now my winters are on steelies :)
